Lake Frances Gas Field

Mountainview has recently purchased the Lake Frances and Williams gas fields. The Company will operate 43 producing 4th Bow Island natural gas wells. Current Production from the field is 500 mcf per day. Along with the 43 gas wells, Mountainview has also purchased three compressors and over 35 miles of gathering lines. This current production holds a large block of Mountainviews acreage that is prospective for the South Alberta Bakken/Three Forks play.

Mountainview Energy plans to drill two vertical Bow Island gas wells. The estimated cost for this program is $400,000. This program will improve daily production and also hold more acreage prosective for the Bakken/Three Forks. Field wide Spacing in the Williams Field is 2 wells/640 acres. Field wide spacing in the Lake Frances Field is 1 well/160 acres.

 

Snoose Coulee Gas Field

Mountainview Energy’s average Working Interest in the Snoose Coulee Field is 45 to 50%. As a result, Mountainview Energy Ltd will become operator of the 13 producing gas wells located on the property along with any wells subsequently drilled. The Snoose Coulee gas field has sunburst oil potential and also is being evaluated for Alberta Bakken Potential.
